Commercial era
editPečnik wanted to buy (in '97 or '98) Gayardon's (they were acquaintances) suit but as he died that didn't happen. So he decided to make his own suit. He made it and jumped in September 1998. Less than a year later he founded Bird-Man International Ltd. with Kuosma. Pečnik was designer and Jari was in charge of marketing. He said that the most important thing was to set legislation and develop security protocols so that airports allow people to jump in wingsuits. https://www.jutarnji.hr/life/zivotne-price/nisam-siguran-da-sam-prvi-koji-je-napravio-wingsuit-ali-sigurno-je-da-sam-prvi-od-izumitelja-koji-nije-poginuo-u-svom-odijelu-za-letenje/6219751/ 213.149.61.73 (talk) 18:50, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
