The Winston Sci-Fi (do you not hate the term) series
editI have all of the books in the series. I would have loved to help in the project to cover them. They were an important presence in every school library when I was a child.
But there is no place in the Wikipedia for me.
The problem with having a scholastic effort where personal relationships between editors is more important than facts is that factual content MUST suffer.
And without factual content, what is the wikipedia aside from arrogance? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.248.226.42 (talk) 01:30, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- I would love to have you help out with the Winston articles! You're the first person I've found who's expressed an interest. Please feel free to add to the articles, especially if you have some reliable third-party sources to reference! Welcome! FusionKnight (talk) 16:06, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
John C. Winston Company
editSee Talk:Holt McDougal#History for notes on our current redlinks and toward future bluelink, such as useful external links.
(Article section Holt McDougal#History is now mainly about Holt, Rinehart and Winston, its predecessor and the successor to John C. Winston Co.) --P64 (talk) 23:45, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
