Sara Khadem´s Federation
editSara Khadem (Sarasadat Khademalsharieh) changed her federation from Iran to Spain and will be playing this event under the spanish flag. Her FIDE page already shows her as representing the new federation. https://ratings.fide.com/profile/12512214 2804:14D:8C8A:9557:ACC1:6663:20B7:2F09 (talk) 17:58, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
Unable to easily read the draw
edit@SpyroeBM: this edit is a regression as, without spacing, it's no longer easy to see who's playing who. In fact, the brackets make it look like those players are grouped, but it's actually the opposite. Greenman (talk) 10:26, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Greenman: As mentioned in the edit message, the compacting of the bracket was done to save space. Considering the brackets are split by sections and the black line in the Round 1 part is present, I believe the pairings are clearly shown, with the pairings becoming much clearer i the Round 2 part.
- Respectfully, the spacing in the article is going to be an issue if you keep the names in full form, rather than have the first name in initial form (e.g. M Carlsen instead of Magnus Carlsen). Like I said, having it in full form is unnecessary and redundant.
- Would like to hear the opinions of other editors as well, but like I said I had made the changes based on the tennis grand slam pages. SpyroeBM (talk) 13:20, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
