Talk:Women's Refugee Commission

Hi,

I am volunteering with the Women's Commission and saw that similar organizations: Refugee International, International Rescue Committee, Human Rights Watch, etc. have wikipedia pages. Women's Commission for Refugee Women and Children is a notable NGO and I'm trying to write this as objectively as possible. From my perspective, this page(women's commission for refugee women and children) is similar in content to the others I mentioned above - so not sure why it is marked for deletion. I think this is a notable organization that should not be marked for deletion

I found several articles referencing the Women's Commission - including the NYTimes and Democracy Now. These now appear under external links/references. Furthermore, the Women's Commission is appears to be a well recognized non-profit, and not advertising anything because they do not sell their services. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 38.102.195.114 (talk) 19:45, 13 April 2007 (UTC).

Image:WC logo red 72 dpi for Web crop.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
