Information on how the homestead burnt down.I spoke to a retired farm hand from nearby cattle station &was told hewas working near by in 1957 when he seen smoke early that morning he rode over to homestead site & found it on fire the homestead was being used by students from timbertop private school on the annual bush work &camped at the house overnight & axidently burn it down by over stoking the fireplace
