Wood BouldenWood Bouldin – All the sources I've consulted (including the FFV genealogy volumes I have not cited) spell his name "Bouldin" I came across this problem in 2020 during covid shutdowns but did not so anything about it. Tokyogirl placed a redirect, so I cannot just do the move. The original editor has not edited in a long time. And no one has done anything about this talk page. *Support I have cited reliable sources, and don't know why the move didn't take effect after 7 days. I don't have a lot of time to research wikipedia policies concerning probable name typos. The FFV volume to which I referred (and have referenced in other articles) was originally published by noted genealogist John Frederick Dorman and called "Adventures of Purse and Person". Though he died, it's now in the 4th edition and published by the First Families of Virginia society. Frankly the Bouldins married into the FFV and don't get a section of their own, hence my non-citation in the article. For what it's worth, the family plot at St. John's Church in Halifax, Virginia, which I visited last weekend, has a monument spelling the surname as "Bouldin" but does not have a separate gravestone for this man, only for his son, presumably because he was originally buried at the family plantation.Jweaver28 (talk) 23:38, 5 November 2024 (UTC) Struck double !vote through.
