edit"In the Spring of 2005, convicted child molester Mary Kay Letourneau married her victim, Vili Fualaau at the city's Columbia Winery."
While this is true, this seems out of place in a general article about the town. If Woodinville was a noteworthy part of that story, it might warrant inclusion in a later section. I'm deleting.
Skyline
editWhy is an image of the Ste. Michelle Winery identified as a skyline? - Jmabel | Talk 03:57, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Woodinville logo.jpg
editImage:Woodinville logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
notable residents?
editI'm confused why the notable residents include lots of famous people who were born and reside on the east coast (Jon Bon Jovi, who is from NJ, Al Roker who is a New Yorker, Jim Varney who was from the southeast...) and midwest (Tim Allen who apparently is from Michigan...) If there is no citation for any of these people having ties to the Northwest I am going to remove it, it strikes me as someone playing a prank. –71.35.141.45 (talk) 21:53, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
Crowe
editI was right, it _was_ trivial. http://community.seattletimes.nwsource.com/archive/?date=20051013&slug=crowe13 --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 06:16, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Woodinville Weekly
editThere is a local free passed out medium sized newspaper depicting local events like school events and fairs. --Clark89 (talk) 22:36, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
Historical population data error
editNot sure what's the source of the error, but the notion that Woodinville's population in 1990 was more than double its population in 2000 is just wacky. (see inset box under "Demographics") --Haruo (talk) 22:46, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
- Just speculating: does the 1990 figure perhaps include all areas with Woodinville ZIP codes, but 2000 & 2010 only the incorporated city limits? --Haruo (talk) 01:33, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
