Relationships in the Workplace
editWorkplace relationships are unique interpersonal relationships with important implications for the individuals in those relationships and the organizations in which the relationships exist and develop.[1]
Studies Show that Workplace relationships directly affect a worker's ability to suceed; The main point being that employees with the best access to information are the most likely to succeed. Furthermore employees with a higher quality relationship with their supervisor have more acess to such information.
Because workers are spending On Avergage 50 hours a week in the workplace friendships are formed because of the long work hours. These connections can be both strenthgning or become harmful. Since these relationships are becoming more common this page will act as a brife overview on relationships in the workplace, creating, sustaining, and sucessful approaches to balancing the work and the relationships.
