Expanding
editI've got a book on the Kasparov/Short match (the one by Danny King and Donald Trelford) which is fairly comprehensive so when I get a chance i'll have a go at expanding the article. Pawnkingthree (talk) 22:43, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Split Article
editI think it would be better to split the article and present the two championships in separate articles. SteMicha (talk) 09:23, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- The trouble with a split is that both the the Candidates tournament and the politics would both need to be duplicated if we split the article. It's really one story, not two. I think it's better to not split. Peter Ballard (talk) 09:49, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- Though I guess we could keep this article (with the Candidates and the politics), and split off FIDE World Chess Championship 1993 and PCA World Chess Championship 1993 if and when there's enough material on the matches to warrant separate articles for them. But we're not at that stage yet, or even close to it, IMHO. Peter Ballard (talk) 12:25, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the article should be written in the first place. Conscious (talk) 09:05, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
