U.S. military causelties during WWII
U.S. armed forces lost 416,000 man during WWII.292,000 of them died during military action.And what about another 124,000 man ?

Total U. S. military deaths in battle and from other causes were 416,837 The breakout by service is as follows, Army 318,274 , Navy 62,614, , Marine Corps 24,511 , United States Coast Guard 1,917. . and United States Merchant Marine 9,521.. Update
I have just completed an update of the page using the current system of references and doing a general cleanup. I noticed a number of dead links that I updated as well as deleting some triva and excess verbage that got posted--Woogie10w (talk) 21:50, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
