In the "Human losses of World War II by country" box, please add a hyperlink in the Soviet Union's "Deaths as % of 1939 population" where it says "See Table Below" linking it via a reference number or letter to the title table of the Soviet Union's casualty box. The above request was not resolved. The added hyperlink (do a find for 'AY4') sends you to the wrong table. The link back from the correct table doesn't work either; this actually probably messed up the example the original requester gave too...

If the person who will edit this doesn't know html, do the following:

change

   <sup class="reference plainlinks nourlexpansion" id="ref_table"><a href="#endnote_table">AY4</a></sup>

to

   <sup class="reference plainlinks nourlexpansion" id="ref_AY4"><a href="#USSR">AY4</a></sup>

and change

   <a href="#ref_table">^<sup>AY4</sup></a>

to

   <a href="#ref_AY4">^<sup>AY4</sup></a>

I probably fix it, but not marking this as done, so some other can take a look. Those footnotes are quite complex... that is why {{ref}} and all other are deprecated, we now use {{efn}}. --Edgars2007 (talk/contribs) 11:01, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

The id's is what needs to be fixed. I fixed it in a sandbox by changing: (see table below) {{Ref|table|AY4}} to (see table below) {{Ref|USSRtable|AY4}} and {{Ref|USSR}}{{note|table|AY4}} to {{Ref|USSR}}{{note|USSRtable|AY4}}. Other than that I'm not familiar with Wikipedia's templates, so by all means use your proper judgement. Jefhimself (talk) 13:51, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

Denmark should be changed to 4 military deaths, as 4 soldiers were killed during the invasion in 1940. It is not a joke, but it was because the phone was out of order and they did not get the order to surrender. JacobAagaard (talk) 07:50, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

This edit is not necessary

The figures on the table are rounded to the nearest hundredth place on the table, so the figure of 4 military deaths does not belong on the table. In fact the Danish official figures do not list them in 2,685 Danes who lost there lives on Danish territory.

Where the article states the following: "Homosexuals: 10,000–15,000 gay men perished in Nazi concentration camps.[222]" This directly contradicts the source that says, "Most of the 50,000 men sentenced by the courts spent time in regular prisons, and between 5,000 and 15,000 were interned in concentration camps." No where is the mention of the number 10,000 and the numbers "...5,000 and 15,000..." was the number in concentration camps, not deaths.

Additionally, siting from this Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution_of_homosexuals_in_Nazi_Germany_and_the_Holocaust "It is unclear how many of the 5,000 to 15,000 eventually perished in the camps, but leading scholar Rüdiger Lautmann believes that the death rate of homosexuals in concentration camps may have been as high as 60%." The source for this is un-cited, nevertheless, based on these figures the estimated Homosexual deaths should be between 3,000 and 9,000.

Further, the source article stipulates that "Lesbians were not regarded as a threat to Nazi racial policies and were generally not targeted for persecution. Similarly, the Nazis generally did not target non-German homosexuals unless they were active with German partners. In most cases, the Nazis were prepared to accept former homosexuals into the "racial community" provided that they became "racially conscious" and gave up their lifestyle." and "Ministry officials expanded the category of "criminally indecent activities between men" to include any act that could be construed as homosexual." This intimates that Lesbians were not sent to the concentration camps nor were imprisoned and should not be counted among the death tolls of homosexuals. Therefor, for the sake of accuracy, instead of "Homosexuals" the article should say "Homosexual Men".

I corrected the citation for US Holocaust Museum "According to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum "Between 1933 and 1945 the police arrested an estimated 100,000 men as homosexuals. Most of the 50,000 men sentenced by the courts spent time in regular prisons, and between 5,000 and 15,000 were interned in concentration camps." They also noted that There are no known statistics for the number of homosexuals who died in the camps"

On Wikipedia we must have a reliable source for are posts. The statement "but leading scholar Rüdiger Lautmann believes that the death rate of homosexuals in concentration camps may have been as high as 60%." needs a reliable source that can be verified before it can be posted here.

Under the Holocaust deaths heading, Jewish deaths sub-heading, please change sentence three from: "Estimates Holocaust deaths range between 4.9 to 5.9 million Jews." to "Estimates of Holocaust deaths range between 4.9 to 5.9 million Jews.". According to the Canadian War Museum [1]

1939-1945 More than 42,000 Canadians lost their lives as a result of the Second World War. Canada played a strong role in defeating the Axis powers. The price of victory was high: approximately 23,000 Canadians laid down their lives serving in the army, 17,000 in the air force, 2000 in the navy and 1600 in the merchant navy. Another 54,000 Canadians were wounded and thousands would be physically impaired or psychologically scarred for life. Over 700 Newfoundlanders also died during the war.

The self published website that you cited (canadaatwar) listing 47,000 war dead more than likely includes those who died of natural causes. I trust the figures of the Canadian government Canadian War Museum that lists those who gave their lives in battle.
