Other Countries

I've noticed that "Other Countries" has been added to the casualty chart with only data for overall population. Would it still be considered OR to add a footnote (like the other countries) outlining some of the losses these smaller countries (San Marino, Dominican Republic etc) sustained without tallying them (tallying them would be OR?)

Perhaps. The same could also be said about some of the neutrals and lesser combatants listed. Cuba and Iceland, for example, did lose more lives, but still have minimal impact on the conflict. In a similar vein, I do find it kind of odd that there aren't figures for Egypt (not just here, but anywhere.) They had their own army, were a major seat of combat, and sustained attacks on civilians and shipping. 24.228.234.139 (talk) 00:34, 25 July 2015 (UTC)

Neither was the Swedish Navy, but we cite a ship sinking of theirs. I did in fact, find a source:

ne1 crosschecked the figures? recently i read that 11 mio soviet soldiers died in wwII. that collided with the numbers i recalled. i checked the english Wiki and here it stated said 11 mio dead soldiers. than i thought i better tried the german page since for apparent reasons the germans not only should know best how many deaths they have on their hands, i was quite confident that they actually would know. and tada, it said 13 mio dead soldiers. which is the number i recall from school. while the spanish page lists 8.9 mio dead soviet soldiers. i could try other pages but i guess you see the point. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.139.236.190 (talk) 10:34, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

Wipedia itself cannot be used as a source. The sources cited here for Soviet military casualties are based on current research published in Russia during the 1990's. Holocaust deaths in Libya

Does the Italian tally for holocaust deaths include those killed in Libya. Yad Vashem puts the total at 600. http://www.yadvashem.org/yv/en/education/newsletter/25/algeria_marocco.asp
