Photo-shopped photograph

The 'Jewish execution' picture being used; containing German Einsatzgruppen soldiers aiming their rifles at a civilian woman with her baby, is a well-known manipulated photograph perpetrated by Soviet propagandists during the War.

Evidence to support this image isn't real, is that not only do none of the figures cast any form of shadows, but the soldier's rifle is clearly aimed to the left of the woman supposedly being shot at.

This photo (as with most other supposed German execution images) is a fake, designed to vilify the German's for apparent War Crimes they never even committed. Just like the Soviet Union didn't record it's Wartime atrocities, the German's likely wouldn't have either...... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.53.24.215 (talk) 03:31, 28 October 2014 (UTC) and edited by 101.163.118.126 talk also 28 October 2014

I think you're right. The "photo" looks kind of suspicious.--41.146.14.200 (talk) 23:56, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

I am restoring the auto-signed block that was deleted by the author of the above comment, and adding note of the edits by another anonymous user to that same block.

The same authors have spent extensive time 'discussing' the legitimacy of the photograph in the [Talk:Einsatzgruppen#Misrepresented_Image] page, where they have repeatedly failed to present citations that refute the extensive documented known background of the image.

For anyone who wishes to know more without having to wade through the Einsatzgruppen Talk page, take a look at the "Object History" field of the page on wikimedia where the image is located: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Jew_Killings_in_Ivangorod_(1942).jpg

This is not some forum to promote anti-communist conspiracy theories. Especially not by using Nazis in your arguing. Did America ever admit its atrocities? 77.165.250.227 (talk) 10:56, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
