Where team rankings at each championship were taken from? They are quite different from medal winner standings.Cmapm (talk) 21:32, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Team ranking is base on points not medals with this format:
After 1989: 10pts for Gold, 9pts for Silver and ... 1pt for 10th place.
Before 1989: 6pts for Gold ... 1pt for 6th place.
