Merge between Wreath (attire) and Wreath

I think we should keep the subject on wreath because it seams small but it's a huge topic —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.194.233.40 (talk) 23:16, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

It seems to me that this article needs some discussion of the significance and history of Christmas wreaths; and how the concept developed. For example, a wreath is used in Catholic churches during Advent as a symbol; complete with four candles, one for each week of Advent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.127.200.152 (talk) 06:16, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

Question

What is difference between garland and wreath ?

Wreaths appear to have a different history than garland, though by todays standards wreaths would be considered a type of garland. Dairyfarmer777 (talk) 12:08, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Too many images

There are simply too many images. Some repeat or add slight variation to other images, while others are simply unnecessary. As a result, we violate MOS:SANDWICH, which I believe means the article is now more difficult for people with screen readers to navigate. It also becomes a problem on monitors that are very wide and those that are very narrow (some mobile devices). Can we please trim some, particularly in the "funeral and memorial wreaths" section?
