The comment above does not match longstanding procedure and guidelines. Where there's no primary topic, we have a disambiguation. Whether one, both or neither of the pages is actually titled with the ambiguous name is irrelevant. If everyone's in agreement that there isn't a primary topic between the two, then the move should simply go ahead. — Amakuru (talk) 21:31, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Note - discussion opened as there appears to be controversy regarding this move request. Although the policy-based reason for moving seems solid enough, a technical request would likely have been disputed in this case. I previously moved Mexico (barque) to Mexico (barque, wrecked 1886), which has since been merged into Southport and St Anne's lifeboats disaster. I'm not touching the proposed title, but I would suggest (as above) something in the vein of Wreck of the Mexico (1837) (or any other title, I just feel that the year first is unusual for us and leads to more ambiguity)
