To-do list for Wu-Tang Clan:
|
Main Photo
editCan we please get a new main photo up? All of these low quality photos that were taken live look like crap. The Wu deserves a better main photo.
Hip Hop Honors
editI was doing a small touch up (the biggie section was written as if someone were simply describing the detials..in a terrible way i.e. biggies takes this line and says...) I reworded the first line in the hip hop honors part, but am not going to attempt the rest of that section. It appears as this.. While initial reports stated that theNick Brown was along for the ride and got busted for coke posessions group had issues with VH1's security staff .... Is Nick brown the former associate who is sueing them? Should it be 'While initial repots stated that THE GROUP had issues with vh1's security. (is that relevant?)
A Section titled Beef?
editThat must be why the article needs cleanup.. "Beef" for describing a situation with the cops seems a bit slang. Section needs re-naming. FPS_Tony 6:21 EST, March 3, 2007
That makes no sense but whatever, it's been changed to Controversy. LilWyte 10:28, March 30, 2007
Wu-Tang Mountain
editI changed the origin of the word Wu Tang in the main article. The original mentioning of the state Wu is incorrect: the characters are different. Wu in Wu-Tang means martial, the same character in Wushu. Wu-Tang is the Northern God in Taoism who was (according to Taoist text) once a prince in northern Hebei during the reign of the Yellow Emperor. The British Museum has a collection of his statues in their Asian Collections.

Albums template
editI'm not sure that the gallery of album covers should be a template. This is the only article that uses it. Tim Ivorson 2006-07-08

Discography
editThere are two pages for Wu-related albums, Wu-tang albums and the regular discography. They both have their pros and cons so they should be merged
wrong tense
editthe following paragraph is written in the wrong tense and needs to be changed
Shortly before the release of The W, ODB escapes custody while being transported from a rehab centre to an L.A. court and is considered a fugitive. At a record release party for The W, ODB, his face hidden by an orange parka, isn't recognised until he's introduced to the crowd. With police officers present outside, ODB performs briefly and then flees, fearing capture. Six days later ODB causes a commotion signing autographs in a McDonalds in South Philadelphia. Unaware of who is causing the ruckus, the manager calls the police. When the cops arrive, ODB mistakes them for fans until they draw their guns. ODB flees the restaurant but is stopped while trying to start his vehicle. After presenting a fake ID, he admits who he really is and is arrested. [9]
