Edited Trivia
editI removed a few "facts" from the Trivia section. "The cast had a lot of fun making the show" isn't a particularly relevant or interesting fact, and the characters Emma Frost, Psylocke, and Mr. Sinister were never officially slated to be in the fifth season. The "Evo-ized" illustrations of Psylocke and Emma Frost posted on Steve Gordon's official website are commissioned pieces of art, not projected character designs (the fact that Psylocke's uniform is *way* too risque for a children's show should have been a giveaway) and Mr. Sinister was intended to appear in the Evo tie-in comic, not the show itself.
Removed the "Rumors say that after X-Men 3 the series might return" bit in the Trivia section. There has been no reliable word about X-Men: Evolution returning; the new Wolverine/X-Men cartoon in production is a completely unrelated project.
Storyboard
editI deleted the "Storyboard" subsection due to the atrocious English, uncited sources, and the fact that the information did not warrant its own subsection. (Info about small scenes that were cut should probably belong in the "Trivia" section.)
Lead Picture
editJust out of curiousity, is there a reason why the picture at the top is a roster of the X-Men, and not of the title card? That seems to be a standard thing for TV shows. Unless anyone objects I'm going to put it in. Anakinjmt (talk) 16:54, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Please Verify This
edit" Jean turns into the Phoenix. Had the series continued the show's next season would have focused on the "Phoenix/Dark Phoenix Saga". In a sneak preview of the show it also showed that Emma Frost along with Professor Xavier helped Jean maintain control of the Phoenix and later released the being in the the time-space continuum and then it showed that the Shadow King was the next victim of the Phoenix and he had control and swore to take out the X-Men with his new discovered power."
There was no verification of any sort of the sneak preview of the season 5 mentioned in the above paragraph therefore it was deleted. If there really is a Sneak Preview of Season 5 then please verify.
Was it Canceled/ Why did it End?
editAny word on why the show ended? There's no mention of it on here. 98.237.8.197 (talk) 02:52, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Production Notes
editI am planning on adding a note about the initial working title of the show " Children of the Atom" based on interviews with one of the series' co-developers, Robert Skir, and directors, Steven Gordon. They also provide some reasoning behind why the show ended after season 4 which I will include. The initial title provides some context for what the developers were going for with the show, and the info behind the show's ending would hopefully provide some clarity to fans.
This is my first time editing a Wikipedia page, so any tips, questions, or helpful feedback would be appreciated! Beriahg (talk) 19:29, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
