I completely agree, just as it would be inappropriate to merge the x-ray, radio and optics pages. Just because it's EM doesn't mean it should all be in the same article. By that logic, there should be only be three or four physics articles and eventually one if string theory proves correct! Birge 04:59, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
I added more details in the history section of X-ray microscope, and created a new 'biological applications' section on the usage of X-ray microscope in biological studies. Twlk42 (talk) 21:29, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
