Fair use rationale for Image:Dizee Rascal Album Boy in da Corner.jpg
editImage:Dizee Rascal Album Boy in da Corner.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:50, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Independent?
editHow is XL recordings an independent record label? It's a member of the RIAA?
LOGO
editThe logo on this page is incorrect. This is the current XL Recordings logo:
http://www.xlrecordings.com/mailout/friendlyfires/images/xllogo.gif
As found on the label's own website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doowelgnip (talk • contribs) 22:12, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
- see WP:LOGO for what to do about this.— alf.laylah.wa.laylah (talk) 23:22, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
XL TV
editXL TV does not exist. XL Recordings do not run an ongoing series of video recordings with various acts from the label's roster. There have never been sessions at the Studio Plateaux on Platts Eyott island in 2008 or otherwise. None of these video session exist. Complete fabrication. - It's generally OK to remove unsourced material like this if it's not true. It might be best to announce that you'd like to remove it, and then if no one disagrees in a day or so, go ahead and take it out. If the material is sourced to something (I know, not the case here) removing it takes much better reasons.— alf.laylah.wa.laylah (talk) 23:24, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

Weezer
editThe band Weezer are not and have never been signed to XL Recordings. Removing them again.
