list of software implementing XSPF
editI wonder if the community could comment on whether it would be appropriate to move a page currently included on the xspf.org site to here. http://xspf.org/applications/ is a list of software implementing XSPF. This list has wiki nature and would be better maintained if it were on wikipedia. But it is non-standard to have something like that on wikipedia. Comments appreciated. I don't see why not Lucas. It's a very helpful list for both developers and non-developers alike in my view. The applications page on the XSPF site appears not to have been updated recently, and it would be helpful to check link validity along with recent upgrades to existing xspf apps and the inclusion of new ones.99.247.35.22 (talk) 15:38, 9 April 2012 (UTC)Duncan George
Please clarify
editSo the improvement of this playlist-format (compared to for example m3u) is that it instead of playing a specific file, can play the same song (not necessary the same recording) if it's available in some other file elsewhere?
