Sales certifications
editI have doubts about X being certified in some of those countries mentioned in the chart section.Someone please verify it.--Jandkay (talk) 04:25, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Scissor Sisters
editI thought the Scissor Sisters (or members of the) were gonna play a role in this album? Arthurian Legend 13:39, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
- True, however none of their tracks, nor Groove Armada's etc, were used in the final tracklist. PatrickJ83 21:38, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- The first single, Two Hearts, sounds very Scissor Sisters-y, though. Arthurian Legend 05:22, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Reading?
editDoes anyone know if it has been mentioned, how the title is intended to be read? Is it supposed to be "eks" or is it ten? I had assumed it was "eks" until I realised this morning, it could in fact be "ten" since I've never seen it written out anywhere. Anyone know? - EstoyAquí(t • c • e) 08:26, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
- Pronounce it like the letter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.122.166.26 (talk) 00:47, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Its pronounced like the letter because when her music video for premeired she said it was from her tenth album "x" THOUGH THERE IS A DOUBLE MEANING BECAUSE x is her tenth studio album and as we all know, x is the roman numeral for ten. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.131.47.196 (talk) 19:36, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

editIsn't this just free advertising for an artist and her record label? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Folk smith (talk • contribs) 13:50, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Not at all. If you review policies and guidelines, albums by notable musicians often have their own article, and are not done to promote anything, but to give information about the album. There are reliable sources, and it is written neutrally, presenting facts about the album. Ariel♥Gold 13:59, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Album formats
editIs anyone going to add the mention that at least in the UK the album was released as a USB stick and its content? Very few releases are being produced in this format and seldom seen in stores and since the design of the actual memory stick and box are quite unique we could include a picture? Dollvalley (talk) 06:48, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Second single
editWikipedia current has "The One" as the second single while I have heard that "Wow" will be the next single. Does anyone have any official information as to her next single? Thanks. --Lakeyboy (talk) 22:27, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- If you dont know what the next single is, please do not recreate redirected articles. So far articles for "Wow", "Speakerphone" and "Heart Beat Rock" have been redirected. Without a source, they will be reverted - wait for official announcement from either the record label or official Kylie website... thanks! - eo (talk) 22:54, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
MYLO BEEF
edit"He was shocked when the final product was released without any of his tracks included, and became a big crybaby about it."
Is this what the article really said? Hilarious, but I'm not sure if it sounds quite right. Puckeylut (talk) 22:27, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Speakerphone next single?
editAccording to this reliable site, [1], Speakerphone has charted in Canada. This surely means its released as a single. Something similar had happened with Early Winter, it had charted similarly, no one believed that it will be a single, but ultimately it did. I am feeling confident that it is a single. People who work on Kylie Minogue can do some research. I have no intentions of making the page. Indianescence (talk) 12:12, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- It did chart for one week on December 15, 2007.... this was 4 months ago now. Not sure if it hit the chart due to some radio airplay? As far as I know the song has not been released on its own in Canada, nor anywhere else. I think the label is still trying to work "All I See" in North America right now. - eo (talk) 13:25, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Sales of X in Spain
editI've edited like a hundred times and someone who calls himself a "FAN" is changing it everytime. X is not Gold (Oro) in Spain. It had a terrible chart-run: 28 - 71 - 83 - 99. And it droped out of the chart without any certification. So, please, stop adding false information. Do you think you're a better fan or you make Kylie a better singer by posting false information???? Rub rb (talk) 11:29, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Stop changing the charts!
editOkay,X was number 1 on the international charts of Taiwan and Greece,ok? It charted in Japan as well at 13 on the international chart and 40 on the overall chart. Also chart at 5 in EUropean albums chart and 9 on the world chart.
Copyrighted image over-use has been fixed.
editHow come after I removed the Australian & Asian Tour Edition covers someone put the image over-use notice back up? It can't be because there are 2 copyrighted images becuae many articals have at least two and the images are also both low-resolution and can't be used for piracy. So now that there is not 4 copyrighted images rather there is only 2 (Standard Edition & Special Edition) I ask that whoever keeps doing this please stop because the problem has been resolved.
Mirrored Love (talk) 01:06, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
- Please read my edit summaries. There are 6 unfree sound files, which is too much for an article about one album. I realize that the tag says excessive use of images but that's an issue with the tag, and there does not seem to be a tag for excessive use of sound files. I'm trying to address that shortfall. For purposes of our copyright policy image files and sound files are linked together. ie they are all files and is this case, all unfree. The point of adding the tag is so that the article is listed for copyright review by editors who are looking at copyright issues, rather than editors that are looking only at this article. Bottom line is someone needs to look at the sound files and make some choices. The only reason I haven't simply removed them all is that I think that would be unfair to the editors who put this article together, but the number of sound files needs to be trimmed down. There's no justification to use more than one, especially considering that the fair use rationales do not give any unique information that compellingly addresses the need to use any of these sound files. Thanks. Rossrs (talk) 01:14, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

editI've noticed that "Heart Beat Rock" and "Speakerphone" were redirected to this page and I was just curious if that was because they were said to be singles or songsTheJoJoFredo (talk) 14:58, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

Source for "Speakerphone" statement
editHello everyone. I noticed the following statement (The song "Speakerphone" was initially rejected by the label, but was later accepted by it) in the article, and I was wondering if anyone had a source to back this up. I was only curious because I was doing some minor work on the "Speakerphone" article so if there is a source, it would be nice to add that information to the song's article too. Thank you in advance! Aoba47 (talk) 02:02, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Aoba47! I recently expanded the article and haven't found any source to back this statement. Damian Vo (talk) 03:01, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for the update. It sounds like it was speculation from the time. Aoba47 (talk) 23:11, 28 August 2021 (UTC)

QPQ: Done. |
Overall: Article is new enough (GA), long enough and sourced. No copyvio and qpq is done. Hooks are cited and interesting. Striking ALT2 because the source doesn't exactly say that they used any of the rejected material in their album. Other than that this looks good! BuySomeApples (talk) 19:29, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

- Damian Vo, the hooks used to just have X in bold. I shifted some more text into the bold link (without changing any text) to make it more visible and likely to be clicked on. If you prefer it the original way, feel free to restore it. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 21:18, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
