The image: A street scene in Xai-Xai
editThis image is quite bad and does not show much: it is too dark; it could be anywhere in "suburban" Mozambique, chapas and all. Why not a picture of City Hall or the Train Station, or the Suspension Bridge. Better no picture than that!
And, by the way, I don't believe that the city (municipality) of Xai-Xai belongs to the district of Xai-Xai as seen in the infobox. They are different realities, one is a municipal territory and institution (autonomous) the other is just a part of the state's territorial division. Teixant (talk) 22:02, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- I aggree, that's why after I uploaded it I did not add it to the article. However, your statement that Xai-Xai city is not within Xai-Xai district is bizarre; the district article says itself that Xai-Xai is the largest town in the district. Hum if you did not add the picture to article why is it there? Regarding my statement on the city not being located in the district, I agree that it might look bizarre. Although the area of most municipalities in Mozambique was carved out of districts and the district administration is located inside the town or city that is a municipality, the jurisdiction of the district administrator does not apply inside the municipality. So if a municipality might be located geographically in the district, administratively it does not....I think Teixant (talk) 00:39, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
