Zinc Oxide Is Not Organic
This is wrong:
> Photoconductors using organic compounds (like zinc oxide or cadmium sulfide) 174.125.235.115 (talk) 21:59, 5 March 2017 (UTC)
- Originally it was amorphous selenium. But more recently organic compounds are used. I don't know about ZnO or CdS, though. Gah4 (talk) 01:56, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
- For an actual organic photoconductor, see patent 20140127617A1.[1] Gah4 (talk) 03:37, 27 January 2020 (UTC)

Charging: A charge of 600 Volts? Volts a measure of potential energy, not charge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BracketMaster (talk • contribs) 02:45, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
- This is true, but they are commonly charged with corona discharge from a high voltage, so that voltage is commonly used to describe it. The surface charge density is proportional to the electric field, and, at known distance, to the voltage. Gah4 (talk) 01:54, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
