Intelsat incident
editI think the Intelsat incident might need to remain covered in the article. It was featured in international media and seems very much like an undisputed fact to me. The only point of dicussion is about the number of fatalities caused, I think we should just mention the official chinese government numbers as well as those reported in the international press.

Use as ROC capital
editThis edit by Special:Contributions/174.89.100.11 claims that Xichang was used as the ROC capital at the end of the Chinese Civil War using this source. A Google translation does not seem to support this; mentions of its role:
- "to use Xichang as a base to control the southwest"
- "First of all, the Southwest Military and Political Chief Office was moved from Chongqing to Xichang..."
suggest it was used as a base for military headquarters, not the national capital.
174.89.100.11, perhaps you could clarify how you got the information? - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 21:11, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
- I found it on Google but will go further and it’s on the keywords. 174.89.100.11 (talk) 22:02, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
