Studio Vs Compilation

edit

Like I’ve stated, almost every album released posthumously by an artist is listed as a studio album. The exceptions being the two Michael Jackson albums. My question is why are they listed as compilations. I understand that they are compiling recordings of when he was alive, but they do that with many posthumous albums. Just look at Juice WRLD, Pop Smoke’s second album, and even Tupac. This shouldn’t be listed as a compilation unless it was compiling previously released music. WP:OTHERSTUFF isn't the basis of an argument. There was a previous consensus about the Michael album at Talk:Michael_(album)/Archive_2#End_the_Edit_War_-_Studio_vs_CompilationLil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 20:59, 10 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
