When did this ham originate -- 1766 or 1909? Both years are claimed in the article. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 23:47, 25 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

1909 is the year it was first mass produced in factories, 1766 is the year it was first recorded being consumed by locals. Sorry if it was confusing. Metro man 27 (talk) 23:45, 12 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
