- An Eastern Slavic custeme template should be there to make it clear that Iosifovich is his patronymic and not his middle name.
- Yakov Iosifovich Dzhugashvili[a] (18 March 1907 – 14 April 1943) Which calendar his birth date in? Old or New one?
- Dzhugashvili was born 18 March 1907 Same as above?
- His mother, Kato Svanidze, was from Racha and a descendant No née before Svanidze?
- Georgian custom has women retain their name through marriage.
- The body doesn't say he was born in Baji.
- She died on 22 November 1907 Old or New style of the calendar?
- Dzhugashvili was brought to Moscow to live with his Unlink Moscow because it is a common term.
- was one of the happier times in Stalin's life.[10][8] Re-order the refs in numerical order.
- as well as his step-mother Nadezhda Alliluyeva, who was only six years older than him No née or didn't Russians/Soviets women use their husbands' name?
- While Russian custom has women adopt their husband's name, Alliluyeva did not, in order to maintain an independent life from Stalin.
- There are three howevers maybe one or two of them should be removed.
- lieutenant with the 14th Howitzer Regiment of the 14th Armoured Division battery No links for the units?
- I tried to find something that would fit, but can't see any articles, even in the Russian versions.
- See two kind of British "-ise"s -ise and -ize. Which one should the article use?
- He felt that the United Kingdom was weak and had Unlink the UK because of common term.
- On 14 April 1943 Dzhugashvili died at Sachsenhausen Link Sachsenhausen.
- No edit war.
Infobox
- "Яков Джугашвили (Russian)" Unlink Russian because of common term.
- That comes as part of the name template, otherwise I would.
- "18 March 1907" Old or New style of the calendar?
- "Nationality: Georgian" is a little bit vague because Georgia was an independent state between 1918–1921. But do we know he had a Georgian nationality back then? Also, add Russian during the Empire's years and Soviet during the Union's years.
- Removed that as it is more contentious than helpful.
- May I also ask you why his infobox isn't a military one?
Images
- File:Ekaterina Svanidze.jpg No date? Also, it needs a US PD tag.
- Is there a link for File:Do not shed your blod for Stalin.PNG? Also what's the current situation for the image in the US?
- Not sure what you mean by link? Otherwise added a US tag.
Sources
- No OR.
- Google Books claims that Kotkin's vol 2. book is from 2014 which one is correct?
That's anything from me. Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 11:31, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
- I addressed most of the concerns above, but lost the comments at the last minute, which is frustrating. But in short, I've addressed everything above except the dates, which I have to check the sources to confirm. If you can give me a few days to go collect and go through them, I'll be back with a more definitive answer. Also left a few notes about specific points above to clarify things. Anything else just let me know. Kaiser matias (talk) 16:35, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
- Greetings Kaiser matias, the only little issue here is the date of his born. Do you know which calendar data the article use? I mean in the former Russian Empire and in early Soviet Russia (until February 1918) they use the Old Style which was 13 days prior than the New Style in the 20th and 21st centuries and 12 days in the 19 century. Both calendars's data should be in the article. If this little issue is addressed then we can pass it if I, of course, don't find any other major issue. Cheers. - Like I said I'm going to check a few sources and see what style they used. I'm almost certain it is Old Style, which like you note was used at the time in the Russian Empire, but I want to be sure. I just don't have access to the sources at the moment, and won't for a few more days. I'll be sure to let you know once I get a chance to look it over, and want to say thanks for taking the time to give the article such a thorough review, it really is appreciated. Kaiser matias (talk) 21:51, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delay, but I've confirmed that everything pre-1918 would be in Old Style, so I've added that to each relevant date. I do believe that is everything now. Kaiser matias (talk) 17:56, 6 October 2019 (UTC)
- @CPA-5: Just want to ensure you saw the above. If there's anything else please let me know. Kaiser matias (talk) 18:10, 12 October 2019 (UTC)
- Yes I saw it. I will have a second review tomorrow. Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 20:16, 12 October 2019 (UTC)
