Contradictory ages
editThis post appears to give contradictory ages: the peninsula is less than 10,000 years old, yet a frozen mammoth found there was 10,000 years old -- older than the land it would have wandered on? This is probably a trivial result of inaccuracies in age measurements, or simply a disagreement between 2 groups of scientists or their methods. However, perhaps the article could be reworded to explain or remove the apparent discrepancy. Complex.confusion (talk) 18:00, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
craters
editDoes anyone know if more craters have started to appear in the past 2 years? Akuma809 (talk) 14:25, 5 March 2017 (UTC)
History to Geography
editI changed the section name from "History" to "Geography". History is focused on human affairs, and the section talks mainly about natural resources and geological characteristics.
I removed also the description of a crash. If the accident didn't cause a change in the way of living in the area, it's not relevant.
