I am starting my first Wikipedia article and I am not sure I am doing it right. I created it under User: H Rockies and it is about Yamnuska Mountain Adventures - I am still editing it and have to verify a few things before moving it to Wikipedia.

Should I do anything different, re: edit it in another place? Should I try to add any images or can I leave it for other contributors?

Should I keep editing it under my user name? And how can I move it to Wikipedia?

Thanks! --H Rockies (talk) 22:49, 7 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

You should edit where ever you are comfortable editing it and add as much to it as possible. You are doing great. When you are ready to move it leave a message on my talk page and I will move it to the title you request. Thanks for your help! I think we can move it. The title should be Yamnuska Mountain Adventures and I appreciate your help (would you mind letting me know how to do it? I will be writing more articles in the near future and don't want to bother you if I can do it myself. Thank you so much!).--H Rockies (talk) 18:09, 9 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
The move was done, you may not have this yet but, there will be an arrow next to the edit button, then you click move and say not to move the talk page. It will leave a redirect but tag the page with {{db-redirtypo}} and an admin will remove the redirect. Then you can make another one. Happy Editing! I noticed that you are editing it and moved the page for speedy deletion. Would you mind telling me why? I am not understanding what is going on.--H Rockies (talk) 19:14, 9 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
