editI have created a page about the mathematical theory of the yang-mills equations, which is in many ways independent of their physical origins (which is well-covered in Yang-Mills theory). The title of this page (and of Yang-Mills theory) uses a long hyphen, whereas links in text use the standard hyphen -. Perhaps someone wants to fix this? Tazerenix (talk) 16:40, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
never actually shows the equation
editsomeone please add the actual equation -lethe talk + contribs 16:16, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- The equation is and appears at the end of the history section and in the definition section in two different forms. It can be added to the lead also if needs be. The point of this article is to get the mathematical overview of the equations, and in particular to avoid the local coordinate expressions that one can find in the physics article, instead presenting the common mathematical notation.Tazerenix (talk) 17:58, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
