Naming Conventions (Chinese): Republic of China

edit

Per naming convention in regard to the Republic of China, a person's nationality shall be given as "Republic of China", not "Taiwan". Anything else is POV. This especially goes out to user Tewapack ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Freetaiwanblog (talkcontribs) 22:33, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I honestly did not find such limitation in the naming convention you provided. Personally, I think "Republic of China" shares the same meaning with "Taiwan" while Taiwan is more widely used and less likely to be confused with China. >g2g886 (talk) 05:47, 11 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Results Summary Necessary?

edit

User:Andyjameslucas1991 added a results summary section to this article, showing a summary of Tseng's results so far in 2011. I don't see the point of this. There's little there that's not in the LPGA Tour career Summary. These summary sections seem better suited to sum up an entire career, not part one season. See for example, Annika Sorenstam. --Crunch (talk) 12:54, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

It is a summary of her majors results (all years), not her 2011 LPGA results. It is a coincidence that the number are almost identical. Tewapack (talk) 15:16, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
That's not obvious. Can something be done to make it obvious that it's a summary of major results to date? --Crunch (talk) 18:26, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
It is a subsection of the "Major championships" section - seems pretty obvious to me. Tewapack (talk) 19:25, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Rolex Rankings do not belong in LPGA Tour Summary section

edit

I moved the Rolex Ranking to a separate section. It had been added to the LPGA Tour Career Summary table. The Rolex Rankings are not part of the data of LPGA Tour performance. They are a separate measurement and should be displayed as such. --Crunch (talk) 12:55, 27 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Why May Instead of March?

edit

In the Hall of Fame section, it is stated that Yani has been 4 points away from the 27 points required for Hall of Fame induction ever since May in 2012. Wasn't her last (23rd) point earned in March in 2012, when her last victory occurred? What is special about May? Is May when her game noticeably began to go south? 7Jim7 (talk) 00:24, 2 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
