Cui Hao
editIt is the poem "Yellow Crane Tower" of Cui Hao made this landmark so famous, not the one of Li Bo, so I changed the order of these two poems. Rungbachduong (talk) 23:13, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Cleanup
editI cleaned up parts of the article, and tried separating the article into much needed sections. But if you think of better section titles, please change them. --Eugeniu B (talk) 22:37, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
History!
editThis article lacks completely a section on the tower's history. IMHO in its current state it's almost a stub. 79.7.246.12 (talk) 10:26, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Legend contradiction and sourcing
editThe present sourcing for the legends is vague. Given that both appear to flatly contradict its history, specific, quality sources are required. Additionally, we have the use of an unrelated sacred site for the 1981 reconstruction. We need an explanation as to how that has happened and why it was/is not regarded as desecration of the site. Serious questions here need to be addressed. sirlanz 23:24, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
Top floor off limits to general public
edit[1] this article seems to contract the idea the top floor is mostly off limits to most visitors.--Prisencolin (talk) 04:55, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
Location
editI'm not sure if the coordinates here are incorrect or whether Google is rendering them incorrectly (Google Earth is definitely is mismapping nearby sites). But perhaps someone in Wuhan can confirm the location via GPS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Timwarner (talk • contribs) 01:34, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
- Co-ordinates are accurate to within one second, which is the best that wfmlabs offers, evidently. sirlanz 02:54, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
