I think some of the timeline events and sourcing citations added by Bsmeathers (including the exact form of the citations – e.g. "F B Thompson, Spirit of Old Kentucky" and "C Morris, Glenmore, 15/11/91" and "UD Archives, 992.m.167", were simply copied from the post on BourbonEnthsiast by Mike Veach (assuming that was really from Veach). Separately, I note the addition of the puffery as well – e.g. "... with the intention of crafting only the finest whiskey and the dream of restoring the Yellowstone® brand to its former glory. In the spring of 2015, that dream came true when ..." The puffery was added by TheKentuckyKid1981, an account that only made that one edit, ever. That edit cited the Luxco website as its source, and I suspect it was just a copy-paste from there. It doesn't match what that website says now, but that's probably because the Luxco website changed. In any case, I removed the puffery. — BarrelProof (talk) 04:47, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
