QuickCheck and Yhc?
editGwern, could you cite some evidence that Yhc uses QuickCheck? I don't think that it does. Epimorph 00:19, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- Take a look at a grep of the source (and specifically Map.hs and Set.hs). At least one file is importing QuickCheck and using it, according to the version I checked out the day I started the article. --Gwern (contribs) 04:11 9 February 2007 (GMT)
- Map and Set come from the Haskell.org base libraries and are only being hosted inside the Yhc repo while the work on integrating the full base libraries is carried out - afterwards they will be removed. Yhc doesn't actually invoke these tests ever, they were written by someone else for some other purpose. --NeilMitchell 11:00, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- NeilMitchell is one of the Yhc developers, so on the basis of the above comment I've removed QuickCheck again. -- Epimorph 15:20, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
