I Ching (monk) → Yijing (monk) – per WP:PINYIN ("The titles of Chinese entries should follow current academic conventions, which generally means Hanyu Pinyin without tone marks."); cf. other articles in the Category:Tang Dynasty Buddhist monks which are at pinyin names. — AjaxSmack 02:02, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
- Agreed! This would definitely be an improvement. Tengu800 12:00, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

Name issues
editHis teacher's name also needs to be cleaned up. "Shi Huen" needs to either clarify that it's pinyin (i.e., Shi Hu'en) or be turned into pinyin (i.e., Shi Xuan). Right now it's unclear if someone just forgot the apostrophe for a three-character name or copied an old source using missionary romanization for a two-character name.
Of course, if he doesn't have an article of his own, including the Chinese characters themselves is even better. — LlywelynII 17:54, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
