Global Graduates
editThere's a lot of coverage of Don't Mess to be found on the internet, but I haven't yet been able to find much on Global Graduates - any help appreciated. Hadrian89 (talk) 16:55, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Delete or completely rewrite this article please
editThis article as it stands is completely ridiculous and full of bile and personal vendetta. Miss Beckles is possibly notable because of her former TV show but this article seems to have been penned by a very disturbed individual with some kind of personal grievance. The article needs to be majorly cleaned up or deleted. In my opinion, Miss Beckles barely if at all meets Notability requirements anyway. Lolafreddy (talk) 15:43, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
- With the exception of the last sentence, Yolande Beckles has a website dedicated entirely to her nefarious activities, which is POV (for 'nefarious'), and possibly counts as linkspam (blogspots not counting as reliable sources), there is nothing 'ridiculous' about the article at all. All other statements have been reliably sourced to articles in national newspapers, and Yolande has been featured in these newspapers for more than one reason (avoiding WP:BIO1E).
- I will delete the last sentence and subsequently remove the deletion template.
- If you would like to add content to the article which reflects more positively on Yolande, please feel free to do so, bearing in mind that all statements must be reliably sourced. Hadrian89 (talk) 13:25, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Expansion of the article
editThe three sources used thus far contain plenty more information that could be used to flesh out the article. There are two other reliable sources that could also be used: Guardian - How Miss Beckles Messed up my Son and IoS - The Messy Life of Miss Beckles - the latter is from only yesterday, and covers events as yet undocumented on the Wikipedia page. Hadrian89 (talk) 13:38, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
And this Freedom of Information stories 06-07(p.56), and this BBC News - 'Miss Beckles' show sparks anger, and this The Lawyer - Hot 100. Hadrian89 (talk) 13:47, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
