– Disambiguate from Yongle railway station (Beijing). Per WP:2DABS, unless someone sees a primary topic, the dab should be at Yongle railway station. A recent RfC suggests that the qualifier for this article should be " (Taiwan)". Certes (talk) 21:47, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

Comment by proposer: @Bradv, Szqecs, Dicklyon, SMcCandlish, and JFG: Thank you for your work on the RM earlier this month which removed a lot of anomalies. • Sure, though in the absence of any kind of "Yongle [something else] station" I'm not sure I see any need for "railway" to be in the title of any of these. Maybe this is just tension between WP:CONSISTENT and WP:CONCISE. I lean toward the concise side (i.e. avoid over-disambiguation), but if virtually every article in these categories has "railway" in the name of it, that's a strong consistency argument. Because there are other kinds of stations, like power stations, radio stations etc. There are templates used to link to all articles with a similar names. Every exception is an annoyance. Szqecs (talk) 03:51, 23 December 2017 (UTC)

Can you say why the county is better than the more minimal/recognizable disambiguation to Taiwan? Dicklyon (talk) 05:53, 23 December 2017 (UTC)

There are multiple stations with the same name in a state, in which case you have to go one level further down, which means more rules. I prefer to keep it simple. Szqecs (talk) 10:28, 23 December 2017 (UTC)

Is this going to be implemented worldwide though? Also I would argue that England, Scotland etc are not sovereign states, so using them is no different to using subdivisions in other states. Szqecs (talk) 12:22, 23 December 2017 (UTC)

I assume it's worldwide as no one said otherwise. I felt it best to go with the decision for new titles like the Taiwan station but I've not proposed moving the Beijing station today, as I don't see anyone actively moving existing pages yet.
