This audio Official audio"You've Got to Love Her with a Feeling" on YouTube has been provided, for the Tampa Red - Topic channel, by IIP-DDS. Why has it been removed as "unofficial"? There are 10 versions of the song, at that topic channel, at YouTube. Later, re-mastered versions could also be mentioned in the text. Thanks. There is no indication that "Tampa Red - Topic" or IIP-DDS (sounds like a discount dental office) has an official connection to Columbia Records or RCA, who control most of TR's catalogue (including the 1938 and 1950 versions of this song; Prestige controls the 1961 one). The recordings are still copyright protected in the U.S., although not in Europe, where labels pump out a lot of compilations that are non-U.S. compliant (notice that the album covers are from these, instead of Columbia and RCA). An official video should indicate "Provided by Columbia Records", etc.; don't be fooled by imitators! —Ojorojo (talk) 19:31, 26 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
So Bluebird Records was "...founded in 1932 as a lower-priced RCA Victor subsidiary label." Where does Columbia Records fit in exactly? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:46, 26 February 2022 (UTC) p.s. it seems that IIP-DDS is not "a discount dental office", but has at least 51 releases to its name. If it has released Freddie King's "You've Got to Love Her with a Feeling", surely they have some kind of publishing rights?Reply
