edit"You Fat Bastard" was a common chant from fans in the audiences of heavy rock/heavy metal bands in the 1990s onwards, usually when one of the road crew walks on to the stage to prepare some equipment before the band actually come on. It was a jovial practice that relieved the boredom of waiting.
