[You Me At Six]] are not making an album called Born To Be A Band sot this section should be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BayHarborBuch3r (talkcontribs) 20:33, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

G-Unit Records And One Off Single

edit

You Me At Six did not sign to G-Unit records and there next album is not being produced by 50 Cent. Also they are not recording a single with Emeli Sande so these two things need to be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BayHarborBuch3r (talkcontribs) 20:01, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Associated Acts...?

edit

I'm really not sure where some of these came from. I can understand Kids in Glass Houses and The Blackout, so I think they should stay. Paramore should also stay as they are frequently touring together and Elissa Franceschi has sung on the record "Always Attract". No idea what Mayday Parade has got to do with anything, and I think someone put The Pogues in as a joke. I'm removing them now, and I'll boot Paramore and Mayday Parade in a few days unless anyone can explain why they're here. Supakewlaaron (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:31, 15 June 2010 (UTC).Reply

OK...as no one's disputed it, I've got rid of the ones I said I would. Also, The Pogues resurfaced, so I booted them again.Supakewlaaron (talk) 21:06, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Mayday Parade toured with YMAS during the UK leg of their Sinners Never Sleep tour. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emily0062 (talkcontribs) 21:40, 9 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

You Me At Six toured with Mayday Parade a few times suring warped tour/AT tour etc and then they supported YMAS on the british Sinners Never Sleep tour so really they should still be in associated acts... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.23.102.93 (talk) 22:16, 19 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

They will also be touring together on the Spring Tour with All Time Low and Pierce The Veil. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.207.61.247 (talk) 20:29, 8 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Band Genre

edit

had the band down as Pop Punk but an I.P editor has changed them to Emo. For now I'll leave it as Emo but I feel they are closer to Pop Punk. I'll keep it as emo if the general consensus agree's. Else I'll revert it to pop punk in a few days. Thoughts?

Since no one replied and someone has put it back to pop punk i'll keep it at that

Kerrang!

edit

Can someone re-add the information about the Kerrang! Awards? I deleted the previous addition as it appeared to be written by someone with no grammatical knowledge. Addug (talk) 18:43, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

its not emo. more like rock/pop. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.24.84.170 (talk) 08:46, 12 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal

edit
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was to merge. – Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 04:43, 16 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I propose that We Know What It Means to Be Alone, Untitled 4 Track EP, and Kiss and Tell (EP) be merged into the You Me at Six article. These three EP articles are nothing more than a track list and personnel, and all three also lack sources. I looked for sources myself and only came up with trivial websites, from Discog to torrent sites. Lacking "significant coverage in reliable sources", these articles fail WP:NALBUM and aren't notable enough for their own articles, but the EP information may be useful to fans of the band. – Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 03:02, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Support for We Know What It Means to Be Alone and Untitled 4 Track EP, presuming all information is kept (track listing and personnel). As for Kiss and Tell (EP), the information already exists at Kiss and Tell (You Me at Six song), so simply redirecting there might be enough. Actually, I'm not even sure it merits the name "EP", as far as I can say it was only lumped this way in iTunes and Amazon. --Muhandes (talk) 06:54, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Band Members Individual wiki's?

edit

Is there enough to have individual pages for all/some band members? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.125.11.138 (talk) 03:40, 3 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

New page for their new album?

edit

Can someone make a new page and place the track listing (that seems to have its own section on their main wiki page) onto it's own album page as well as the album artwork? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Laynabear (talkcontribs) 12:48, 2 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Born to Be a Band (2013-present) needs to be removed, + recommend taking action on user 'Jake Marr'

edit

There are no references to this, i also note that 'Jake Marr' has attempted to make this section numerous times. I also noticed that 'Jake Marr' has been making numerous 'trolling' attempts across pages, also on All Time Low's page; a band similar to You Me At Six. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thedoverkid (talkcontribs) 16:26, 15 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

It is true that You Me At Six is writing their new album, but there is never said anything else about it. (I took this from the other section: "'Fourth studio album' needs to be removed.", because it is about the same):

The information about a fourth studio album 'Born To Be A Band' is complete nonsense (They said on twitter), so it needs to be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JamesyN (talkcontribs) 21:35, 1 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
True; Josh' tweets https://twitter.com/joshmeatsix/status/309343533893046272 & https://twitter.com/joshmeatsix/status/309343736943476736 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.207.61.247 (talk) 20:26, 8 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

So, the whole topic Born to Be a Band (2013-present) should be deleted and changed to something like: New Album 2013, You Me At Six is currently writing and recording their fourth album. Laristyna (talk) 14:10, 26 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Don't know where to put this. It says in the album section that the new album is called "Born to be a band". This is complete nonsense and should be removed as soon as possible. They are writing a fourth studio album but the name is fictional. Parsonsaj10 (talk) 10:32, 3 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

To be added to the "clothing" section:

What happened to the Associated Acts section?

edit

This section includes:

Mayday Parade: You Me At Six and Mayday Parade have toured several times. For example, the tour with All Time Low and Pierce The Veil.

All Time Low: You Me At Six and All Time Low have also done Co-Headline tours more than once.

Paramore: The band has supported Paramore on many tours, for example the tour in Australia along with Twenty One Pilots.

The Blackout, Kids In Glass Houses: Bands that have supported You Me At Six in different concerts.

Bring Me The Horizon: Josh has collaborated with BMTH on the song Fuck, as well as BMTH's Oliver Sykes on Bite My Tongue and The Consequence live.

I would include: Twenty One Pilots, Twin Atlantic, 30 Seconds To Mars and maybe Pierce The Veil and Blink-182-

Band genre.

edit

I would include Indie Rock, since I think their latest album Night People falls into that category. This being influenced by bands like Kings Of Leon and The Killers. But correct me if I'm wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doppliz (talkcontribs) 03:08, 19 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I’m not trying to remove or edit anything, but I wanna know who that touring keyboardist Emma Faye is. I’ve looked in every video since 2018 to now and I haven’t seen her or any keyboardist playing for that matter. So therefore, I don’t see any type of reasons Emma should be on this page. 2601:40D:4280:EFD0:98A9:8335:8533:58F8 (talk) 21:45, 15 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
