Talk:Young & Giroux

Comment from AfC on the draft article:

There are several issues with this article but notability isn't one of them. The collaboration known as "YOUNG & GIROUX" has many mainstream art acknowledgements and awards.

However, this article attempts to include a "double biography" within an article on the art of YOUNG & GIROUX. It also synthesizes (WP:SYNTH) the references to create an essay narrative on their art when there is much in the ACTUAL references to present in this article without synthesizing. The best recommendation here would be to split this into 3 articles. A Biography of Living Person for Daniel Young, another for Christian Giroux and then a new article for the collaboration of "Young & Giroux" as it is referred to in multiple references and awards, using those references for the material. (see Penn & Teller or Rodgers & Hammerstein). EBY (talk) 19:18, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

I decided the simplest step to avoid losing the material as an abandoned draft was to accept it under the collaboration name, with cleanup left for later. DGG ( talk ) 00:38, 5 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
