A bit short isn't it?
editThis charity helped me when I had leukaemia... seems like it should be a bit longer... FreemDeem (talk) 18:16, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
I would like to know how much of the money donated is used up in admin costs and how much helps people so I can make an informed decision on where I donate. Some Charitys are good at keeping their costs down others are run like a business. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.38.79.116 (talk) 08:09, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
(I'm answering the previous question) You can google their published accounts, 2009 available stats:
£25 mil earned
£14.3 mil staff costs - 6 employees earning between £60k - £100k (top earners) £ 1.9 mil support costs
So in answer it appears a lot of money is spent before the charity does what I thought charities do? If you want the full picture, you can download the report here: http://www.charitycommission.gov.uk/ScannedAccounts/Ends28%5C0001107328_ac_20090331_e_c.pdf
I suppose that's what happens when charities are run like businesses!!92.232.109.149 (talk) 16:28, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
