Stub?
editI added the stub template based on the fact that the Tone Loc article, which is about the same size, also is marked as a stub. --Jay (Histrion) 12:01, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
opinion
edit"His debut album, Stone Cold Rhymin, is generally seen as a brilliant pop rap album."
not by me. please rephrase. tell us how it sold or how a critic described it. 219.73.42.82 10:19, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
"His later albums favour East Coast Rap, West Coast Rap and conscious minded Hip Hop instead of the often vapid Crunk and Southern Rap that was popular during the early-mid 2000s."
opinion. 219.73.42.82 10:26, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
former?
editSeems harsh to list him as a former rapper. He is still performing.
Related to Tone Loc?
edit"In addition to producing the hit "Bust a Move", Young MC was also an accomplished songwriter, having co-written the hits "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina" for his brother Tony, Tone Loc."
I don't think they're actually brothers. He DID write those tunes for Tone Loc but I think it was just as a result of them being on the same record label. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ckalinwi (talk • contribs) 20:44, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Know How
editAny information about Know How? IMHO it's just as popular (if not more so) as Bust A Move, but no mention of it on the page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.228.109.254 (talk) 21:37, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Young MC's labels after Delicious Vinyl
editIn at least 2 instances, the record label Capitol is misspelled, even though the Wiki link for the company is included first with the proper spelling.
Rhino Entertainment is owned by the Warner Music Group, and the main Rhino label specializes in re-issues. It never signed Young MC directly as an artist. They may have obtained a license to reprint the album "Stone Cold Rhymin'" (and accordingly the hit single "Bust A Move"), or had some access to the Capitol material when he was signed with the label subsequent to his Delicious Vinyl contract. This distinction should be clarified.

- Ummm....you only have to sign your post once. Anyway I've fixed the misspelling of Capitol. Wouldn't it have just been easier to fix it yourself rather than point it out to everyone else? Fell free to clarify the other point you've raised yourself - I'm not going to stop anyone else from making that change but I'm not going to make a change like that without a reference. Freikorp: My understanding for the "Talk" page was to call attention to issues the original poster may wish to address. I wasn't trying to embarrass anybody. I'm respecting the editorial process; "too many cooks" and all that. Please understand, no insult was intended.
As for the multi-signing issue, that was a computer glitch. Sorry about that also.
