I noticed that there are two similar articles (this and Pioneer movement),seems like both of them mostly refer or Soviet Union. Also Russia is not exactly Soviet Union and Soviet Union is not exactly Russia (regarding the tag above, isn't there same one for a Soviet Union?). it's a very popular misconception. -Obrez 05:32, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

I've read Pioneer movement article and I believe, it refers to the movement as a whole and equally overviews Pioneer organizations of all countries, while this article refers only to the Soviet Pioneer organization. These articles are obviously too different in conception and contents to be merged, hence I've removed the "merge" tag. Cmapm 12:13, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

Russia is the legal successor of the Soviet Union, so, I believe, that both Soviet and Russian project tags are appropriate here.Cmapm 12:20, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

Poorly written paragraph in intro

I removed this paragraph because I just simply could not understand what it was trying to say in order to properly rewrite it.

After the ban of the 1991 Communist Party of the Soviet Union . In the countries of the former Soviet Union society advocates the restoration of the Pioners movement at the State level. In particular the Eastern European countries: Russia, Ukraine, Moldova! Belarus so long is the only Republic where the restored Pioneers Organization.

Factual errors

The current version of the article seems to imply that a "pioneer organization" was established by the Russians following their incursion into Ukraine. This assertion is not accurate. It is possible that this misinformation was added to incorporate Ukraine into the narrative. In reality, Russia instituted the "All-Russian Movement of Schoolers" in 2015, and that was the extent of it. Images referenced from "Radio Liberty", a platform which arguably has propagandist tendencies and thus might not be suitable as a source, correspond to the Communist Party pioneer movement. This is a distinct entity altogether.

I propose that we amend this article by using a translation of the Russian version, which presents the information in a factually accurate manner. 46.7.217.254 (talk) 10:20, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
