editThere is no information on the popularity of the original song when it came out. I'm sure GTA introduced it to some people but it has been around a little longer than that... HotOne121 (talk) 04:29, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
This article is horrid. It's more about the covers than the original song, which peaked at #6 on the Hot 100 and is almost an anthem from the 80's.
