merging with yoyogi park

edit

Yoyogi is a major district of Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, and contains the park but does not really contribute to most of its activities. Most foot traffic in the park is between Shibuya and Harajuku entrances. Merging the articles would simply cause confusion.

Furthermore, I took the liberty of giving my locale a decent wiki page. I do not know who decided that Yoyogi was just a train station and a park, but they are badly mistaken.

what is yoyogi?

edit

The intro would be more effective with an assertion as to what Yoyogi is (e.g, if it is a district, adding something like:

Yoyogi is a district located in the metropolis of Tokyo, Japan just south of Shinjuku and north of Shibuya.

deleted merger template

edit

In the absence of anyone speaking up in favor of merging, I've deleted the merger template. adamrice 17:33, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
