In 2006, Year 8 pupil Cadan ap Tomos (now Year 9) founded the Penweddig Climate Change Society (Welsh: Cymdeithas yn Erbyn Cynhesu Byd-eang). The group are committed to making the school "greener" in any way possible. The group is also a member of the Welsh Eco-Schools initiative (Welsh: Eco-Ysgolion) and are currently working towards the Green Flag as part of that initiative.

You cannot find a reference outside Wikipedia because you are searching for the wrong thing, and there probably isnt one. The website is there and everyone within the school community knows about it. Predecessor School

How about a reference to the predecessor school to Penweddig, namely Ardwyn Grammar School, aka the County School?
