Yvon Vromman (1950-1989) was the founder and lead vocalist of Belgian rock band "The Honeymoon Killers" (1974-1985). Their 1982 album "Les Tueurs de la lune de miel" was quite successful, highly rated by the press in Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Japan and the United Kingdom, where the music press wrote enthusiastic features about the band (a.o. an extensive story in the New Musical Express, with the band's picture appearing on the front cover, a rare occurence for a band whose lyrics were in French).
The album was voted "best Belgian rock album of all times" by Belgian music magazine MoFo, and appeared in the list of the "ten best Belgian albums of all times" published last summer by news magazine Le Vif/L'Express.
The band remains influential and cult-ish to this day.
Vromman was also a member of Belgian band Aksak Maboul.
