Contested deletion
editMarceau is the partner of Pierre Dulaine, a prestigious American ballroom dancer. She has been recognized by numerous dance associations, performed at significant dance institutions, and has made major contributions to the preservation and dissemination of ballroom dance in America. Her efforts were documented in the popular documentary Mad Hot Ballroom.
Contested deletion
editI do not think that this page should be deleted because Yvonne Marceau is a dancer of great prestige and a teacher of importance who has brought ballroom dance to greater heights through her work with American Ballroom Theater and her curriculum taught in the New York public school system. Marceau has been recognized as such by many dance organizations of merit including the Joyce Theater and Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. Wikipedia should follow suit and allow this article to exist and to be added to through the collaborative help of the community. Dammersk (talk) 19:43, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
